The Bourbon Yellow Woven Banarasi Saree sets a zari-woven Banarasi body in a warm bourbon yellow against an ikkat Patola border, joining two of India's great weaving vocabularies in one drape.
Fabric and Craft
The body follows the brocade tradition of Varanasi, with zari motifs woven into soft silk-blend fabric for a rich metallic sheen. The border takes its geometry from Patola double-ikat design, where patterns are dyed into the yarn before weaving, giving the edge its distinctive stepped precision.
